Christ Academy, for high school men, is a two-week summer conference for those interested in theology, worship, and of course those considering Pastoral Ministry as a possible vocation are especially invited. The conference includes class time, worship, fellowship with peers and the seminary community, all which takes place on the beautiful seminary campus. Participants get a first hand opportunity to experience how and what a pastor learns, and how he is formed in the seminary environment.
Outside of the classroon there are opportunities for fellowship and fun such as trips to an area water park, a TinCaps baseball game, participation in capture the flag and other recreational activities are great counterparts to underscore the joy of the entire experience of Christ Academy.
Many questions can arise when a son or daughter is considering service to the church. How will they enjoy or be able to handle the studies? Is this really what they are being called to do? How does the whole education outlook fit my child and our family? These questions along with countless others will be answered at our Christ Academy events. If your son or daughter is interested in the pastoral ministry, worship or theology please consider these very helpful events on our beautiful campus. If you have any questions please contact us anytime.
Time and time again new seminary students list their own home pastors as their primary influence in entering pastoral ministry. The seminary could not exist without your support of the men you send here for pastoral formation and the women you send for deaconess training. Our Christ Academy programs are set up to walk side by side with you in assisting those in your flock who seek to discern how they are called to serve in Christ’s church. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions about the seminary or our Christ Academy programs. Our prayer is that God would continue to bless our continued efforts in bringing workers into His harvest field.
Christ Academy—High School is June 19-25, 2016 for Alpha Week, or June 26-July 2, 2016 for Beta Week.
